With access to the Rayy Cement Factory hindered by the power play between the local municipality and other actors, the perimeter walls of the factory and in turn walls and facades around Tehran became a fitting canvas to exhibit visual fragments of the garden growing within, challenging its almost complete inaccessibility. A series of graphic posters, they were an open call to citizens of Tehran to acknowledge the potential of the ruderal landscape and the potential of the city as a garden.

The respondents to this open call turned into key agents of the project: a community of local gardeners cultivating a city-wide garden through the smallest acts of care.

Our gratitude goes out to: Saba Majd,Soha Mahmodi-Derakhsh, Kimia Hashemi, Nikta Pakdaman, Kiana Roohi, Negar Maaleki, Ghazal Mazareei, Ava Harandi, Melika Nik, Farideh Nasiri Fard, Sana Abdollah, Barbod Yara Marandiz, and Saba Arabshahi.
